Timothy Van Oorschot
Timothy van Oorschot is a contemporary artist whose practice embraces instinct, imperfection, and emotional immediacy.
Working with the spontaneity of Cobra and outsider art, he creates intuitive forms, like faces, hands, feet, and natural elements, that explore identity, connection, and our bond with nature.
Returning to essential materials such as black ink and earthy Ibiza tones drawn from childhood memory, he strips his work back to line and raw expression. His “naïve brut” style rejects rigid boundaries, offering universal, relatable symbols that speak directly to feeling rather than reason.
