MEET THE ARTIST
Oikos Estudio
Pascale Zintzen is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Oikos Estudio, based between Barcelona and the countryside of Baix Ebre, Spain. Working with clay, bronze, painting, weaving, and lime, her practice draws inspiration from the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, childhood freedom, and the Mediterranean landscape.
Clay lies at the heart of her work, where she creates pieces at the intersection of functional art and sculpture, often enhanced with wild pigments she collects herself. Her artistic vocabulary is deeply informed by her background as an archaeologist specializing in domestic ceramics, giving her work a distinctive blend of historical awareness and contemporary expression.
