White stoneware – Limited edition
The Baume lamps draw inspiration from Jean-Louis Chanéac’s late-1960s Bulles Pirates, reinterpreting his utopian “living cells” as soft-glowing “light hats” perched on ceramic columns. Entirely hand-built in my Roubaix studio using the coil-building technique and without molds, each lamp is unique within the series.
MEET THE ARTIST
Elisa Uberti
Elisa Uberti is a contemporary designer and sculptor whose work reconnects with the craft of stoneware.
After fifteen years in the fashion industry, she brings a refined sense of form and materiality to her practice. Based in Roubaix, she creates curved, meditative sculptures that explore the intimate relationship between humans and material. Drawing on traditional craftsmanship, utopian architecture, primitive art, and the concept of dwelling as a protective space, her minimalist, organic forms invite contemplation.
Each piece reflects a slow, deliberate process, revealing her artistic sensitivity and shaping a unique microcosm far from standardization.
