Hand-built stoneware, hand-dyed silk, natural dyes, hemp rope, wool.

Since 2023, the artist has been developing Interweaving Fiber and Clay, a project that unites hand-built ceramic vessels with backstrap-woven, naturally dyed fibers to expand the expressive potential of both materials. Rooted in her Japanese heritage, the series reflects themes of guardianship, protection, and resilience.

Intertwine (III) highlights her blend of Japanese and Peruvian techniques. Using stoneware, naturally dyed silk, hemp rope, and wool, the piece embodies a dialogue between cultures and the interplay of heritage and craft.
